In commemoration of the 2022 International day of the girl child, Justice vault foundation yesterday, Thursday, 13th October, 2022 organised an outreach at the Girl’s Junior Academy, Simpson Street, Lagos.
The guest speaker, Mrs Abiye Tam-George, Vice Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association Lagos Branch and Chairperson Human Rights Committee, NBA Lagos, in her lecture sensitised the students on their rights as a Children, she talked on the various kinds of abuses which a children but most especially a girl child can be subjected to and which is against the law.
Mrs Abiye advised the girls to always speak up if they experience any form of abuse from anybody on them. A contact number was given to them if they want to speak with any members of the group.
In a way to enhance better learning of the students, Justice Vault foundation donated its branded exercise books to all the students and the management, a novel written by the guest speaker Mr Abiye Tam-George was also given to the students.
The management of the school led by the Principal, Mrs Bello thanked the group for their support towards the children.
