Okey Leo Ohagba has congratulated the leadership and members of the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Forum Owerri Branch on the occasion of their 2026 Young Lawyers’ Forum Summit, describing the event’s theme as timely and reflective of the evolving realities within the legal profession. The summit, themed “Beyond The Bar: Harnessing Emerging Opportunities In Nigeria’s Evolving Legal Landscape,” is scheduled to hold from May 24 to May 29, 2026.
In his goodwill message, the former National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association commended the Chiemeze C. Nnawuchi-led YLF Executive Committee and the Summit Planning Committee for creating innovative platforms aimed at capacity building and professional development for young lawyers. Ohagba noted that the changing dynamics of legal practice require young practitioners to embrace innovation, retooling, and adaptability in order to thrive in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven environment.
