Etaba Agbor, Esq. is a legal practitioner and public policy professional with experience spanning litigation, legislative practice, public policy, and institutional development. He currently serves as Technical Assistant to the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), where he provides strategic support to the President on policy development, institutional reforms, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening the Nigerian Bar Association and advancing the legal profession.
He also serves as the Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF), the national body representing young lawyers across Nigeria. In this capacity, he coordinates national programmes and policy initiatives that promote professional development, mentorship, access to justice, innovation, and the welfare of young lawyers. His work has contributed significantly to fostering stronger engagement between the NBA leadership and the next generation of legal practitioners.
Etaba served as Legal Adviser to Member Representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Public Petitions, Rt Hon. Mike Etaba, where he advised on constitutional and legislative matters, legislative drafting, public policy, oversight responsibilities, and the review of bills and motions. He also provided legal guidance on constituency matters, public petitions, and governance issues, contributing to effective legislative decision-making and strengthening democratic accountability. His experience at the National Assembly deepened his understanding of public administration, law reform, and the intersection between law, governance, and economic policy.
Etaba is an Associate at Law Forte Legal Practitioners, where his practice focuses on litigation, dispute resolution, and commercial advisory. He has represented clients in complex legal disputes and continues to provide strategic legal advice to individuals and corporate entities. His professional interests include institutional reform, economic governance, public policy, and strengthening the rule of law as a catalyst for national development.
