The NBA President, Yakubu Maikyau SAN is convening a series of free orientation sessions for newly qualified lawyers under the auspices of the NBA-Institute of Continuing Legal Education led by Mr. Tobenna Erojikwe.
The series will run for 9 days starting from Monday February 13 at 2pm, and featuring different speakers and sessions.
If you are a “new wig” who is desirous of making the best out of the profession by learning from the experience of others and avoiding certain career pitfalls, then this is for you.
This session will discuss career opportunities for lawyers and the various options open to lawyers starting out in the profession.
The session will draw from the experiences of accomplished lawyers to illustrate the various paths new wigs can explore including the linear path, nonlinear path, generalist and specialist paths as well as considerations for international legal practice.
