As the 2026 National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the concluded in Awka, Anambra State, Senior Advocate of Nigeria and presidential hopeful, , expressed appreciation for what he described as a memorable and impactful gathering marked by unity, professional engagement, and strengthened relationships among members of the Bar.
In a statement following the close of the meeting, Akangbe reflected on the farewell dinner and interactions that characterised the event, noting that beyond the deliberations of the NEC, the gathering fostered fellowship, networking, and shared commitment to the legal profession. As the curtains draw on the NBA National Executive Council Meeting in Awka, I leave with a heart full of gratitude, renewed friendships, and inspiring memories.
Beyond the robust deliberations and meaningful engagements, the farewell dinner beautifully reflected the spirit of unity, fellowship, networking, and shared purpose that bind us together as members of the Bar.
I sincerely thank the good people of Anambra State for the warm hospitality and for hosting a memorable NEC meeting.
