THE NBA ANAOCHA BRANCH LAW WEEK & BAR DINNER 2026
A NOTE OF FELICITATION AS ANAOCHA BRANCH HONOURS THE 26TH PRESIDENT OF NBA, HON. OKEY WALI, SAN, DSSRS.
BY OKEY LEO OHAGBA
I write to warmly felicitate the John C. Oraekeh led Executive, the Law Week Planning Committee, and the entire members of the NBA Anaocha Branch, on this auspicious occasion of your 2026 Law Week.
The theme; Justice Delivery and Prevailing Conflicting Judgments: An Imperative for Urgent Judicial Reforms is timely and reflective of the pressing challenges in our justice system, highlighting the need for coherence in judicial decisions and reforms that enhance certainty, fairness, and restoration of public confidence in justice delivery.
Your well-reasoned branch decision to honour our very revered 26th President of NBA, Hon. Chief Okey Wali, SAN, DSSRS, by naming your branch’s main Bar Centre Auditorium after him is absolutely commendable. It is an honour well-deserved and duly merited.
I salute the Branch leadership for facilitating this laudable initiative – offering a platform for professional engagement, capacity development, reward for excellence and distinguished service to the Bar.
As we converge in the beautiful city of Obeledu in Anaocha LGA of Anambra State, may our deliberations yield positive outcomes for our Bar, profession and country.
LET’S INNOVATE!
With compliments,
Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq.
