Okey Leo Ohagba has congratulated the Nigerian Bar Association Ungogo Branch, Kano State, on the occasion of its 2026 Law Week, commending the branch for choosing a theme that addresses one of Nigeria’s most pressing national concerns. In a goodwill message to the branch led by Gwadabe Simpli, Ohagba described the theme, “The Role of Law and Technology in Addressing Insecurity in Contemporary Nigeria,” as timely, thought-provoking, and relevant in today’s rapidly evolving digital era.
The former National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association and candidate for NBA General Secretary noted that the conference theme highlights the growing need for innovative legal and technological solutions in tackling insecurity and strengthening national stability. He further praised the leadership of the branch and the Law Week Planning Committee for organising what he described as a commendable programme aimed at promoting intellectual engagement, professional development, and meaningful policy discussions within the legal profession.
