The Nigerian Bar Association has announced that Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, presidential candidate in the forthcoming NBA Elections, will be among the speakers at the 2026 NBA Legal Education Summit scheduled to hold at the NBA National Secretariat in Abuja. The summit, themed “Accelerating Legal Education Reform in Nigeria: Progress, Problems & Prospects,” is expected to bring together legal practitioners, academics, policymakers, and stakeholders to examine the future of legal education and reform in Nigeria.
According to the organisers, the summit will hold on Monday, May 25, 2026, by 10:00 AM, and will feature critical discussions on the challenges, opportunities, and prospects within Nigeria’s legal education sector.
