‘Excellence in Courtroom Alone Not Enough,’ Rapulu Nduka Charges Lawyers on Resilience and Discipline

Former National Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Dr. Rapulu Nduka, has called on legal practitioners to embrace resilience, discipline, and endurance as essential qualities for success both within and outside the courtroom. In his latest “Friday unwRAPped” message, Nduka stressed that professional excellence alone is insufficient in navigating the realities and demands of life.

According to him, lawyers who truly rise in the profession are those who successfully combine legal competence with personal strength, consistency, and character. He further encouraged members of the legal community to remain committed to the “unwRAPped movement,” describing it as a platform focused on inspiring transformation, growth, and purposeful leadership within the Bar.
