President Muhammadu Buhari has done everything possible to develop Nigeria, but the only challenge is for Nigerians to accept to grow their country.

Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, said this at an academic town hall meeting in Abuja on Thursday.

Nwajiuba, who was the guest speaker, said there is no reason why any Nigerian should not be in the vanguard of a new Nigeria because the president has laid a solid foundation.

“They said it is impossible to do single treasury account, President Buhari came up and instituted it and made it happen, they said Nigeria cannot transact with BVN, this country is now working with its own BVN, they said Nigerians will not agree to migrate to IPPIS so that we will continue having ghost workers, the president has migrated everybody to an integrated payment system,” he said.

The minister said everything they said Nigeria cannot do because of the corruption that fuels it, the president in the last seven years has insisted and taken the pains in spite of abuses from fellow Nigerians, he has insisted that he will establish the things that will make this country stay.

Nwajiuba said while Nigerians are unable to make products for export, they made problems and that is why “We have made in Nigeria problems instead of made in Nigeria products.”

“A country that does not produce will perish because a country must find a way to be relevant to itself, every country is a product of its own people. The way Nigeria’s problem is nobody’s fault there is no leader or policy that needs to be made that has not been made, the only people who do not want to implement them are Nigerians,” he said.

While noting that Nigerians must shift their mindset to making products rather than trouble, he stressed that nobody has come from other parts of the world to disturb Nigerians, saying the people who kill, steal Nigeria’s properties and refused to teach Nigerians are Nigerians.
