The event seeks to spotlight the sacrifices, resilience, wisdom, and enduring legacy of senior citizens whose lives and experiences continue to inspire younger generations.
Scheduled for Friday, 21 August 2026, at The Pavilion, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, the gathering will feature health and wellness sessions, cultural performances, storytelling, fellowship, and opportunities for intergenerational engagement. Organizers noted that the initiative reflects a commitment to preserving cherished values, honouring the elderly, and creating a platform where their life lessons and experiences can be shared and celebrated by the wider community.
