I warmly felicitate with the Executive Committee led by Bukola Ajao, the Law Week Planning Committee, and all members of the NBA Barnawa Branch on the occasion of your 2026 Law Week.
The theme of this year’s Law Week, “Strengthening Democratic Governance and National Development in Nigeria: The Interplay Between Electoral Integrity, Fiscal Responsibility, and the New Tax Regime,” is timely and deeply relevant to the realities confronting our nation today.
Electoral integrity, fiscal discipline, and institutional accountability remain essential pillars of democratic stability and national development. As members of the legal profession, we must continue to uphold the rule of law, defend democratic values, and strengthen the institutions that sustain good governance.
I commend the leadership of the Branch and the Planning Committee for creating a platform for meaningful discourse on issues that shape the future of our profession and our country.
I wish the NBA Barnawa Branch a successful, impactful, and memorable Law Week 2026.
