Muhammed Idris, the minister of information and national orientation, has stated that the ministry won’t have to tell lies to support the administration rather “we will always say it as it is.”
Speaking after being inaugurated, he promised that the government and the ministry will be open and honest when disseminating information.
He declared that the administration will take responsibility for any errors or mistakes it made and make the required corrections.
Idris claimed that a key component of the government would be national orientation and that “in a matter of days we would roll out our plans to Nigerians.”
He urged Nigerians to avoid false information and always seek clarification before sharing it with the public, noting that the government
