Candidate for the office of NBA General Secretary, Okey Leo Ohagba, has called on members of the Nigerian Bar Association to promptly verify their details following the publication of the Preliminary Voters List for the 2026 NBA General Elections by the Electoral Committee of the NBA (ECNBA). In a voter awareness message, Ohagba outlined a step-by-step guide to assist members in confirming their names, Supreme Court Numbers (SCN), email addresses, and GSM numbers ahead of the elections.
He emphasized that the verification exercise, which runs from May 19 to May 27, 2026, is crucial as voting authentication tokens will be sent to the contact details captured on the ECNBA database. Members who discover discrepancies were advised to submit correction requests through the designated ECNBA support email with all required personal details. Ohagba encouraged lawyers across the country to take immediate action, participate actively in the electoral process, and ensure their votes count in shaping the future of the Bar.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO VERIFICATION:
1. Access the Preliminary Voters List via www.ecnba.org.ng – click “Voters List” on the navigation menu to search and verify your name and details on the list, OR go directly to www.ecnba.org.ng/pages/voters.php
2. Search with either your full name (Minimum 3 alphabets) or SCN
3. Check to confirm your personal details. Ensure your current GSM number & email address are both correct, active and ready to receive voting tokens during NBA Elections✅
4. Notice any discrepancy? Worry not! – Submit a correction request to [email protected] ✅ ensure to include all personal details SCN, full name as enrolled at the Supreme Court, current GSM number, and current email address.
