The United Nations Secretary-General has appointed Dr. Jimson Olufuye and Engr. Hossam Elgamal to the Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) for the 2025 Internet Governance Forum (IGF).
The MAG is responsible for organizing the 20th Global IGF, a landmark edition set to take place in Lillestrøm, Norway, from June 23-27, 2025. The group will be chaired by Ms. Roach Carol, Under Secretary at the Bahamas Ministry of Economic Affairs.
As a key advisory body under the UN’s Internet Governance Forum initiative, the MAG comprises experts from government, academia, civil society, the technical community, and the private sector. Its primary role is to shape discussions, foster collaboration, and promote inclusive and sustainable digital governance.
