The Supreme Court panel that hears the appeal arising from the ruling of the Presidential Election Petitions Court is scheduled to be constituted by Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, Chief Justice of Nigeria.
The panel will be constituted by the CJN at the latest on Wednesday, when the deadline for filing appeals expires, according to a report.
It said one of the sources at the court said, “There is no information about the panel or the justices that would make up the panel for now. What we know is that members of the panel may be named this week, latest by Wednesday.
The PEPC had on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, delivered a 12-hour judgment on the appeals arising from the February 25, 2023 presidential election, upholding the election of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress.
