Tinubu Names New NSIPA Boss, Appoints Heads Of Humanitarian Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has seven persons to head strategic agencies and programmes under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, confirmed the development in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

He said the appointments would facilitate the needed relief to Nigerians and ensure the effectiveness of humanitarian and social development programmes.

The president appointed Dr. Badamasi Lawal as Chief Executive Officer, National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).

Lawal holds a doctorate degree in education, and he previously served as a commissioner in Katsina State.

Ms. Funmilola Olotu was appointed Programme Manager, the National Social Safety-Net Coordinating Office.
