I commend the Nigerian Bar Association and the Benue State Government for convening the NBA North-Central Security Summit 2025. The theme— “Strengthening Security, Rule of Law, and Justice Delivery in North-Central Nigeria” – is timely and imperative, given the region’s persistent challenges with farmer-herder clashes, banditry, communal violence, and mass displacement.

This summit offers a critical space for legal minds and policymakers to advance practical, rights-based solutions that uphold the rule of law. I salute the organisers for prioritising peace, security, and accountability. May your deliberations inspire bold, lasting interventions for our people

May your deliberations yield actionable and lasting impact.
