Senator Mike Ajegbo, CON Marks 75th Birthday, Promises to Establish an Endowment Fund

Senator Mike Ajegbo, CON, a distinguished figure in Nigerian politics and society, celebrated a momentous occasion on Saturday, March 23, 2024, as he marked his 75th birthday anniversary. The commemorative event commenced with a Thanksgiving Mass held at the Catholic Church of the Assumption, Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos officiated by the Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Lagos, His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martins, accompanied by a host of Priests.

In his homily, Archbishop Martins encouraged Senator Ajegbo to maintain his steadfastness in faith and contribute to the ongoing efforts of rebuilding Nigeria. The Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Francis Ike, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Celebrant, acknowledging his significant contributions to the parish community over the years.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support and well-wishes from friends and associates gathered for the celebration, Senator Ajegbo pledged to establish an endowment fund for the Church, demonstrating his commitment to the advancement of religious and societal causes.

Senator Ajegbo, renowned as a life Bencher, previously served as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 1999 to 2003. He is the Founder and Chairman of Minaj Group.
