The bill was given an accelerated passage by the lawmakers. With this, the implementation year of the budget has however, been extended from 30th June 2024 to December, 31st December, 2024.
The Senate President, Godwill Akpabio said the extension of the supplementary appropriation act will enable the government continue with the ongoing projects without any delay.
He thanked the Lawmakers for their dedication and commitment to national duties at all times.
