President Bola Tinubu has sent a list of three ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
The names of the nominees were contained in a letter the President forwarded to the Senate and read by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, during Wednesday’s plenary in Abuja.
The trio are Kayode Are (Ogun), Aminu Dalhatu (Jigawa) State, and Ayodele Oke (Osun).
“The list contains three names for now. I am sure others will follow,” Akpabio stated.
President Tinubu, had in September 2023 recalled the country’s ambassadors abroad.
