S. P. A. Ajibade & Co. is happy to announce an Essay Competition as part of the 17th Annual Business Luncheon (#SPAACOABL2024). The competition, centered on the event’s theme, aims to foster critical thinking and generate practical solutions to challenges surrounding data protection and transparent elections in the Nigerian legal profession.
Theme
“Data Protection and Transparent Elections in the Nigerian Legal Profession: Charting a Way Forward.”
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to lawyers with 1–7 years post-call experience. However, staff members of S. P. A. Ajibade & Co. are not eligible to participate.
Submission Guidelines
Participants are invited to submit an essay between 1,000 and 2,000 words, addressing the theme by identifying key challenges and proposing practical solutions.
Submissions must be sent via email to luncheon@spaajibade.com.
Deadline for submissions: 11:59 PM (WAT) on November 30, 2024.
Winner Announcement
The winner will be announced during the 17th Annual Business Luncheon, taking place virtually on Thursday, December 5, 2024. All participants are encouraged to register for and attend the event.
Prizes
The winner will receive sponsorship for the examination registration fees for one certificate-earning vocational course with one of the following professional bodies:
The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).
The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN).
