On Tuesday, the Presidential Election Petition Court released the pre-hearing report for three different petitions that sought to void the results of the 2023 presidential election.

The trial schedule was additionally provided by the court.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, the five-member panel’s chairman, read the pre-hearing report, which contained the declaration of the court’s decision to combine all the petitions into a single case for hearing.

Tsammani then said that the petition’s hearing will start on May 30th, 2023.

Additionally, he stated that the court must prepare for judgment following the adoption of written addresses on August 5, 2023.

This was made known when the petition of the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi was called.
