A video of Peter Obi’s legal team praising God at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Maitama has gone viral on social media.
Peter Obi is the Labour Party’s presidential flagbearer for the 2023 general election.
Tinubu was proclaimed the election winner on March 1 by INEC Chairman Yakubu Mahmood with 8,794,726 votes. According to reports, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the PDP and Labour Party received 6,984,520 and 6,101,533 votes, respectively.
In his complaint, Obi alleged that overvoting happened in some areas of the South West, but that the presidential election was manipulated in 18,088 polling sites against him.
The approval of the final written address by Obi, the All Progressives Congress, President Bola Tinubu, Kashim Shettima, and the legal counsel of the Independent National Electoral Commission was heard on August 1.
