A former National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Okey Leo Ohagba, has extended warm felicitations to the leadership and members of the NBA Ikorodu Branch ahead of their 2026 Annual Law Week scheduled to hold from April 17 to April 23. In his goodwill message, Ohagba commended the Olawunmi Adeola-led Executive Committee and the Law Week Planning Committee for their efforts in organizing what is expected to be a remarkable and impactful professional gathering.
He particularly praised this year’s theme, “From Courtroom to Community: The Lawyer’s Role in Nation Building,” describing it as timely and reflective of the evolving responsibilities of legal practitioners in modern society. Ohagba noted that the theme underscores the critical role lawyers play not only within the justice system but also in fostering national development, strengthening institutions, and advancing community engagement.
