Dear Seniors and Colleagues,

The election has now been concluded, and the results have been officially declared. Mrs. Uchenna Ogunedo-Akingbade has emerged with the majority of the votes cast.

While the outcome is naturally not what I had hoped for, I fully recognise that in every democratic contest, the will of the majority must prevail.

I congratulate Mrs. Ogunedo-Akingbade on her victory and extend my sincere best wishes as she assumes the responsibility of leading the NBA Lagos Branch.

Leadership is a profound trust, and I remain hopeful that she will lead with the integrity and vision that our Branch deserves.

My unwavering commitment to the ideals of the NBA Lagos Branch and the continuous advancement of the legal profession remains resolute and undiminished.

Elections, at their core, are a celebration of participation, dialogue, and collective choice. The members have spoken, and their decision deserves not only our respect but our support.

To every individual who stood with me, who offered encouragement, time, and belief, I express my heartfelt gratitude. Your support has been both humbling and inspiring.

I am also deeply thankful to all members who took the time to cast their votes for me and participate in this important process. Your engagement is the foundation of our shared progress.

Let us now channel our shared energy and ideals toward building a stronger, more united NBA Lagos Branch.
