The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch has officially inaugurated its newly constituted Executive Committee, marking the beginning of a fresh leadership cycle for the 2025–2027 term.
Leading the new team is Uchenna Ogunedo Akingbade as Chairman, with James Sonde serving as Vice-Chairman. Other elected officers include Kelechukwu Uzoka (Secretary), Ngozi Victor (Assistant Secretary), Ogechi Olisa-Mokelu (Treasurer), Patience Obiagbaoso (Financial Secretary), Rita Nwokocha (Social Secretary), Oliver Omoredia (Publicity Secretary), Bennita Olejeme (Welfare Secretary), and Michael I. Igbebuike (Provost).
The Branch also announced co-option of four additional members into the Executive Committee: Chukwudi Kelvin Anyiam, Adekunle Olaofe, Adebimpe Bada, and Gideon Edem. These members will lend further support to the new leadership team as they work towards their shared goals.
