We are delighted to announce the speakers for our upcoming 4th Annual General Conference and International Women’s Day Event happening live in Lagos on Thursday 21st & Friday 22nd March 2024, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria with the theme ‘Beyond the Balance Sheet: Redefining Success for Women in Law’.

In our first plenary session themed, ‘Enabling a Supportive Professional Ecosystem for Female Lawyers’, we have Seni Adio SAN, Ozofu Latunde Ogiemudia, Mobola Tejuosho, and Dr Imke Boerner as the speakers.

Seni Adio SAN, is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and Managing Partner of COPLEY PARTNERS, Lagos. He is a past Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Section on Business Law. He has Over 30 years’ experience as a Legal Practitioner, with cross-border and multi-jurisdiction experience, a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, as well as an Attorney-at-Law in the United States of America admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Ozofu Latunde Ogiemudia is a Partner in Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie’s corporate advisory, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, employment and pro bono teams. Her reputation as an exceptionally resourceful and adaptable advisor stem from her extensive experience in various areas of the law, including private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, corporate restructuring, regulatory compliance, labour and employment, and company secretarial practice. Presently, she serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Nigerian Bar Association, Section on Business Law (NBASBL).

Mobola Tejuosho is a Partner at A02 Law. She is as an avid litigator as well as an astute out-of-the-box problem solver, known for crafting bold business and legal solutions from inception to completion. She leads the Corporate Finance, Merger and Acquisition and Project Development practice group of A02 Law firm.

Dr Imke Boerner is an Attorney and Member of the German Bar She was called to the German Bar in 1992 and in the same year obtained her PhD from the prestigious University, Bonn. Since 2009 she holds a specialization in family law awarded by the German Bar. She is an associate partner of “Steinmeier Rechtsanwaelte” (www.steinmeier.eu), one of Berlin’s leading law firms for family law. Her special focus lies in divorce settlement agreements and marriage contracts.

The Panel will be moderated by Adeola Olumeyan, General Counsel/Company Secretary Channels Television.
This Session will navigate the realities of career growth for women in the legal profession, discussing leadership strategies, mentorship, and fostering a supportive professional environment that protects women.

The session will be interactive and common barriers to career growth for women will be discussed and recommendations will be made.
