The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF) has announced a change in the schedule for its Annual General Conference side event, “BIG ENERGY: WOMEN WHO LEAD,” with the session now set to hold on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The highly anticipated women-focused event will now take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., following an adjustment to the previously announced schedule. The Forum urged members and delegates attending the NBA Annual General Conference to take note of the new time and update their conference calendars accordingly.
The session is scheduled to hold at the Andrew Anyawene, SAN Hall, Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Elekahia, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the principal venue for the 2026 NBA Annual General Conference.
The NBAWF said the adjustment was made to facilitate effective participation and coordination, while apologising to members and delegates for any inconvenience the change may cause. It also appealed to attendees to make the necessary arrangements to ensure they do not miss the session.
The “BIG ENERGY: WOMEN WHO LEAD” side event is expected to provide a platform for conversations around women’s leadership, professional growth and the contributions of women to the legal profession. It forms part of the activities surrounding the 2026 NBA Annual General Conference themed “Beyond Limits.”
The NBA Women Forum encouraged members and delegates to stay connected for further announcements and updates through its official website and social media platforms. The Forum said the event is expected to bring together women in the legal profession for an engaging and impactful session celebrating leadership and influence.
