NBA Women Forum Kano State presents their Mentorship Seminar themed “Empowering Excellence: Developing Skills and Professionalism for the Next Generation of Women in Law” which will hold on Thursday the 6th of June, 2024.
The discussions in this seminar will focus on empowering the upcoming generation of women lawyers by nurturing their skills and professionalism. It recognizes the pivotal role mentorship plays in guiding them towards success in a traditionally male-dominated field. By providing support, guidance, and opportunities for growth, this initiative aims to equip women lawyers with the tools they need to thrive and lead in the legal profession, despite the systemic and cultural barriers. Through a commitment to excellence and empowerment, this theme seeks to inspire and elevate future generations of women lawyers.
It pleases us to announce that the Chairperson of the Forum, Mrs Chinyere Okorocha and the Treasurer, Mrs Mercy Ijato-Agada will be physically present in Kano for this seminar. Our Keynote Speaker is Mrs Fatima Kwaku MFR, a very senior lawyer and one of the pioneer governing Council members of the NBA Women Forum.
