The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has officially unveiled the theme for its 2026 Annual General Conference (AGC), marking an important milestone in preparations for the Association’s flagship annual gathering. The announcement was made by the President of the NBA, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, in the company of the Chairman of the Annual General Conference Planning Committee (AGCPC), Abdul Mohammed, SAN, and the Alternate Chairman, Sammie Somari, SAN.
According to Afam Osigwe, the 2026 NBA Annual General Conference will hold in Port Harcourt from August 22 to August 29, 2026, and will be guided by the theme, “Beyond Limits.” The theme is expected to shape discussions and engagements at the conference as legal practitioners from across Nigeria and beyond convene to deliberate on the future of the legal profession.
