The Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference Planning Committee (NBA-AGCPC) has officially announced the composition of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the 2024 Annual General Conference (AGC), which will be held in Lagos, Nigeria.
Chaired by Bisi Makanjuola, Chairman of the NBA Lagos Branch, the 27-member committee is tasked with supporting the CPC in overseeing the organization and planning of the conference, especially in the organisation of conference activities such as: the Health Walk, Tree Planting, the operation of the Mammy Market, as well as the publishing of a Conferencepedia.
The LOC has also being tasked with the responsibility of collaborating/liasing with the Lagos State Government agencies and to work closely with the AGC Planning Committee to ensure seamless security arrangements, the conduction pre-conference religious activities among other responsibilities.
After a Zoom meeting held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, where the committee was inaugurated, the full list of its membership was released.
