Talent Hunt for Lawyers is being organised, as part of activities line up for the inaugural conference of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) Eastern Zone, which takes place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 with the theme, “Unlocking Prosperity: Exploring the Legal and Entrepreneurial Business Opportunities in the Eastern Zone of Nigeria”, at the Base Events Centre, opposite the Enugu State High Court, Enugu State.
The Talent Hunt for Lawyers is to celebrate the outstanding commitment of the legal luminary, Chief Emeka Ozoani (SAN), who has long been a beacon of inspiration within the legal community by exemplifying excellence, leadership, and dedication. The event serves as a glowing tribute to his legacy by encouraging young lawyers to showcase their creativity and passion beyond the realms of traditional legal practice. According to the Chairman, NBA-SBL Eastern Zonal Committee, Dr. Jude Ezegwui, a partner at the law firm of JIC Ezegwui & Co (Integrity Chambers) and the immediate past Chairman, NBA Enugu Branch, those that are eligible are young lawyers within 1-7 years post-call practicing in the Eastern Zone with great talents such as comedy, music, spoken word, rap, or any other creative endeavour.
On the procedure to follow, Dr. Ezegwui said applicants should register for the conference via: https://nbasbl.org/east, prepare a 2-minute video showcasing their talents, send it to Damilola at 07063090833; and stay connected with all NBA-SBL social media channels for latest updates and announcements. The pursuit of talent comes with the rewards of N200,000 NGN for the 1st position, N150,000 for the 2nd runner-up and N100,000 for the 1st runner-up while application deadline is, March 13, 2024.
