The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN received the news of the passing of Pa Osabuohien Hubert Akpata, uncle of the immediate past President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mr. Olumide Akpata.

Pa Osabuohien Hubert Akpata (fondly called Papa) passed on at a ripe age of 82 and his long life has been described as impactful.
Burial Arrangements are as follows;
• Service of songs: 28th November 2022 at 3 p.m
• Socials and Reception: Saturday, 26th November 2019 at 2:00 p.m
• Thanksgiving service: Sunday 27th November 2022 at Church of God Int’l, Edo State.
The NBA President condoles with the Akpata, Ogbebor n’usen and Aigbe-Ogiefa families of Edo State over the demise of Pa Osabuohien Hubert Akpata and prays that Almighty God comforts Pa Akpata’s family and friends.
