The Nigerian Bar Association, Port Harcourt Branch, has at its monthly general meeting on Thursday, the 27th of February, 2025, constituted its Local Organizing Committee for the AGC to cater to the needs of its members.
The branch chairman Mrs. Cordelia Eke, in inaugurating the committee, read out the terms of reference to the committee, which include: assisting colleagues with registration issues, providing logistics support, organizing the Port Harcourt night and any other activities that would make for an enjoyable conference experience.
The chairman charged the committee to ensure that lawyers experienced a hitch free and enjoyable AGC in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The PH Branch NBAAGC LOC is to be Chaired by Romeo isokariari, Esq. While Dr. Peter Ayogu is the Vice Chairman, and Obinichi Ugo,Esq. as the Secretary amongst other members of the LOC.

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the NBA Annual General Conference is responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable conference experience for members. Its duties include assisting members with the conference registration process to ensure smooth participation. The committee is also tasked with obtaining conference materials and distributing them appropriately.
Additionally, the LOC is responsible for sourcing funds to sponsor young lawyers and support LOC activities, helping to enhance participation and engagement. The committee will also oversee accomodation and logistics arrangements for members during the conference, ensuring their comfort and convenience. Furthermore, the LOC will coordinate various activities designed to create an enriching and memorable conference experience for all conference attendees to ensure they receive the famed Rivers hospitality.
