It was a pleasure to address members of the NBA Nyanya-Karu Branch at their General Meeting, where I was warmly received by the Chairman, Executive Committee, and members of the branch.

In my remark, I emphasized that the Nigerian Bar Association must remain a body rooted in service, welfare, and purpose.

I remain firm on my principles; principles which place members’ welfare and growth at the centre of all we do. The NBA should be a home of support, not a burden. It would also be my pride and joy to see the NBA Nyanya-Karu Branch thrive and grow, and I commend the leadership for the strong sense of purpose I witnessed during my visit.

LATEEF OMOYEMI AKANGBE SAN, FCIArb (UK)
