The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced the opening of registration for a series of thematic masterclasses scheduled as part of the 2026 NBA Lagos Law Week. The initiative is designed to provide registered delegates with an opportunity to gain practical insights and deepen their expertise in key areas of legal practice through sessions facilitated by leading law firms and industry experts.
According to the Branch, the masterclasses will hold on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, and will cover diverse practice areas including Maritime Law, Trademark Law, Tax Law, Blockchain Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Participants will be required to select one masterclass of their choice, with each session tailored to equip attendees with contemporary knowledge and practical skills relevant to the evolving legal and business environment.
The Branch noted that participation is strictly limited to delegates who have registered for the 2026 Law Week, themed “Lawyering in the Digital Age: Navigating Technology, Justice & Innovation.” Organisers described the masterclasses as one of the highlights of the Law Week programme, offering lawyers a unique platform for specialized learning, professional development, and engagement with experts at the forefront of their respective fields.
