The 2026 Law Week of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch got off to an energetic start as hundreds of legal practitioners turned out for the opening Health Walk, marking the commencement of a week-long programme themed “Lawyering in the Digital Age: Navigating Technology, Justice & Innovation.”
The event witnessed an impressive turnout of senior advocates, benchers, young lawyers, and other members of the Branch, who participated in the fitness exercise designed to promote healthy living, professional fellowship, and stronger bonds within the legal community. The vibrant atmosphere, enthusiastic participation, and spirit of camaraderie underscored the Branch’s reputation as the Premier Bar.
According to the Branch’s Publicity Secretary, Oliver Omoredia, the Health Walk exceeded expectations, with participants embracing the opportunity to combine wellness with networking as they officially ushered in the 2026 Law Week.
Organisers described the successful outing as setting the tone for an exciting week of insightful discussions, professional development, innovation-driven conversations, and social engagements, while encouraging members to look forward to the remaining activities scheduled throughout the Law Week.
