The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch has secured a partnership with Jobberman to provide soft skills trainings, access to job opportunities and placement for its members.
According to a statement issued by the Branch Chairman, Mr Ikechukwu Uwanna , the partnership will commence with a free soft skill training scheduled to hold on the 8th of October 2022 and targeted towards younger members of the NBA Lagos Branch, consisting of 7 (seven) modules which will be done via the Zoom platform.
Uwanna said that the initiative is considered significant because it will prepare young members of the Branch for the job market and will help in reducing the nagging issue of unemployment.

JOBBERMAN/NBA LAGOS BRANCH TRAINING AND JOB PLACEMENT PARTNERSHIP
Dear Distinguished Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce to you that the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch has secured a partnership with Jobberman to provide soft skills trainings, access to job opportunities and placement for its members.
With this partnership, members of the Branch will have access to:
1. Free soft skills trainings for members of the Branch aged between 18 and 35 years
2. Participation in various youth engagement events, online and offline, including masterclasses, webinars and initiatives, among other things.
3. Access to job placement opportunities for members of the Branch aged between 18 and 35 years.
The partnership commences with a free soft skill training scheduled to hold on the 8th of October 2022. This training is targeted toward younger members of the NBA Lagos Branch, and consists of 7 (seven) modules and will be done via the Zoom platform. At the end of the training, participants will earn a recognized certificate in Soft Skills which can be reflected on their resume.

This initiative is considered significant because it will prepare young members of our Branch for the job market and will help in reducing the nagging issue of unemployment. I am also of the considered view that this initiative is also a remarkable innovation to income generation and capacity development for Young Lawyers.
