NBA Lagos Branch Holds Fun-filled Advocacy Walk Ahead of Annual Law Conference 2025

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch, yesterday successfully held its much-anticipated Advocacy Walk as part of the build-up to the NBA Lagos Annual Law Conference 2025. The event, which took place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 commenced at the Court of Appeal premises, Igbosere, Lagos, in the morning hours, drawing a vibrant crowd of legal professionals, stakeholders, fitness enthusiasts and the public.

With the conference theme “Reimagining the Practice of Law: Ethics, Innovation and the Future of Legal Services”, the Advocacy Walk served not only as a health-conscious activity but also as a symbolic call to action for lawyers to embrace change, innovation, and ethical responsibility in the profession.

The walk featured a host of side attractions including high-energy guided aerobics, lively dance sessions, and music which pulsating beats kept the atmosphere upbeat throughout the morning.

Despite the early morning rain, participants turned up in large numbers, dressed in branded sportswear, and brought enthusiasm and unity to the early morning activity

In a brief address, the key organisers commended the turnout and reaffirmed the importance of wellness, camaraderie, and forward-thinking advocacy within the legal community.

The Advocacy Walk marks the beginning of a week-long lineup of events for the 2025 Annual Law Conference, which promises to explore cutting-edge developments in legal service delivery while reinforcing the foundational values of ethics and professionalism in the legal industry.
