Olabisi Makanjuola has been announced as the winner in the just concluded election of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos branch. Olabisi secured a total of 720 votes, surpassing Mayowa Owolabi, who received 684 votes, and Adebola Olarotimi Lema, who garnered 258 votes.
In the Vice-chairmanship race, Esther Ifeoma Jimoh emerged victorious by defeating Adefowoke Olubusola Ayo-Ponle, with a total of 1107 votes.
Emuobonuvie Majemite won the position of the Branch’s Secretary with 889 votes, defeating the sole opponent Kelechi Uzoka, who received a total of 754 votes.
For the Social Secretary role of the Branch, Oyindamola Chinelo claimed victory with 895 votes, surpassing Dickson Chimeremeze, who received 732 votes.
Omoniyi Onabule secured a total of 823 votes, defeating Bayo Olusanya, in the contest for the Branch’s Publicity Secretary position.
Adeola Olabamiji (Assistant Secretary), Bennita Nneka (Financial Secretary), and Ono Frances Oliko(Treasurer) Olaide Oluwayomi Ajewole (Welfare Secretary), Ali Jubril (Provost) all ran unopposed and were declared winners.
