Intellectual property rights are intangible assets and have in recent times become ‘real’ to right owners with significant value to them. The understanding, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights are considered essential in today’s everyday legal practice. The value of knowledge of the laws relating to copyright cannot be everemphasized in the Media & Entertainment space. So also, the understanding of laws that relate to the critical role that development of software plays in the technology space.
The session is a practical workshop that will show the role of lawyers in the development of IP, Media and Technology and how to run thriving practice in the subject matter area.
