At the just concluded Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, called on the Association to embrace technology as a catalyst for transformation and improved service delivery to its members. He noted that the NBA must go beyond promises and adopt innovative, practical solutions that will make legal practice smarter, faster, and more efficient for lawyers across the country.
Akangbe stressed that the NBA should not simply wait for the future of law but take deliberate steps to create it today through investments in digital platforms, tools, and systems that empower practitioners. He described technology as indispensable, insisting that a progressive NBA must lead in innovation to ensure the legal profession experiences the future now rather than deferring it to tomorrow.
