The 2025 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference came to a close with a farewell message from the Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee, Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN. As we draw the curtains on what has been a truly remarkable and impactful conference, I extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who contributed to its success by your presence, your participation, your insights, and your unwavering commitment to the ideals of our great Association.
This conference was not merely an event; it was a convergence of minds, a celebration of legal excellence, and a reaffirmation of our shared responsibility to defend justice, uphold the rule of law, and strengthen the pillars of democracy in Nigeria. Together, we engaged, we challenged, we inspired and above all, we moved forward.
As Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee, I am profoundly grateful for the trust reposed in us. We have been privileged to serve, and we do not take that honour lightly. The collaborative spirit, the intellectual depth, and the professional camaraderie we witnessed throughout this conference have left an indelible mark.
As you return to your various jurisdictions, I urge you to carry the momentum with you. Let the knowledge gained here empower your practice. Let the connections built here strengthen our collective voice. And let our shared experiences continue to shape the future of the Nigerian Bar.
