Further to previous correspondence regarding the NBA-AGC 2022, the Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP) is pleased to inform members that a number of sports competitions has been scheduled to take place during the conference.
This was contained in a statement released by Tobenna Erojikwe, Chairman, Technical Committee on Conference Planning and sent to lawhauz.com , stating that there will be an NBA inter-branch male football competition which is scheduled to hold between Thursday, 18th and Tuesday, 23rd August, 2022.
An inter-branch female competition is also scheduled to hold between Thursday, 18th and Tuesday, 23rd August, 2022.
Badminton, table tennis, golf, chess and scrabble competitions are scheduled to hold between Thursday, 18th and Tuesday, 23rd August, 2022.
To participate in either of the football competitions, NBA branches are required o register with a fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000).
Chairmen of branches interested in participating in the football competition should send an email to agcsports@nigerianbar.org.ng with the subject matter as ”indication of interest to Participate in NBA-AGC2022 Inter-Branch Football Competitions”
The prize for the winner of the male football competition is Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000) whilst the prize for the winner of the female football competition is Two Hundred Thousand Naira (200,000).
Registration for the other sports competitions is free and interested participants should send an email indicating interest to agcsports@nigerianbar.org.ng with the subject matter ”indication of interest to Participate in NBA-AGC2022 Inter-Branch Football Competitions”. The mail should contain the following details of interested participant(s), name, gender, NBA branch, nature of sport competition, phone number and e-mail address.
To be eligible to participate in the sports competitions each prospective participant is required to register for the AGC as an in-person attendee.
Registration for all competitions opens on the 21st July, 2022 and closes on Friday, 29th July, 2022.
