The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) said it has constituted zonal congress committees ahead of the exercise slated for March12, 2022.
In a statement Thursday in Abuja, secretary of the caretaker committee, Sen John James Akpanudoedehe, said chairmen of the committees were all members of the CECPC.
“The chairmen of the committees are all members of the CECPC, while secretaries are selected from among the deputy governors from their respective geo-political zones.
“Meetings of zonal stakeholders hold on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the respective geo-political zones,” the party said.
The zonal congress is a prelude to the party’s national convention slated for March 26, as executives who will emerge at the zonal congresses will be delegates to the convention.
