NBA Women Forum Kano State held their Mentorship Seminar themed “Empowering Excellence: Developing Skills and Professionalism for the Next Generation of Women in Law” on Thursday the 6th of June, 2024.
The Chairperson of the Forum, Mrs Chinyere Okorocha and the Treasurer, Mrs Mercy Ijato-Agada were physically present in Kano for this Seminar. Hon. Justice Hafsat Yahaya gave an insightful keynote speech. A host of senior lawyers were present and participated as Mentors: Hon Justice Fatima Adamu, Huwaila Muhammad, Kemi Oyewo, Augusta Uchechukwu Uzu, Rabi Shehu Ahmad, Amb. Safiyya Nuhu, Hajara Hamza Safiyo.
Awards were received by the speakers and mentors in the seminar for their efforts to empower the female lawyers for success through mentorship.
