The Phenomenal Woman Conference 2.0 is delighted to feature Ndidi Anike Val-Okeoma, Esq., popularly known as “The Voice,” a passionate advocate, legal practitioner, and inspirational leader dedicated to advancing the rights of women, children, and vulnerable communities.
Ndidi is the Managing Partner and Head of Practice at Didi Anike & Partners, a frontline law firm based in Owerri, Imo State. With over two decades of active legal practice, she has built a distinguished career marked by advocacy, leadership, and unwavering commitment to justice.
A respected human rights activist and gender rights advocate, Ndidi has been actively involved in campaigns and advocacy efforts supporting the passage of legislations aimed at protecting and promoting the rights of women and children in Nigeria. Her voice continues to play an important role in advancing conversations around equity, justice, and social transformation.
Her leadership within the legal profession has been remarkable. She served as the pioneer Chairman of the Young Lawyers’ Forum, Nigerian Bar Association, Imo State Branch, and also as Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Owerri Branch. She later served as Chairperson of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA Nigeria), Imo State Branch, an international organization dedicated to protecting the rights of women and children.
Beyond her professional work, Ndidi contributes to several development and advocacy organizations. She currently serves as board member, consultant, and legal adviser to several non-governmental organizations, including Alliances for Africa, the Imo State Committee on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (ISCEVAWG), and Save The Deaf and Endangered Languages Initiative (S-DELI).
Ndidi is also the Founder and Vision Bearer of JUDGES, a faith-based mentorship initiative that empowers women to discover their voice, embrace courage, and take positive authority over their lives and communities.
Her commitment to leadership and public service has also extended into politics. In 2024, she made history as the youngest and only female gubernatorial aspirant in Imo State under the Labour Party, demonstrating her bold vision for transformative leadership and her determination to create meaningful change.
Beyond law and advocacy, Ndidi is a TEDx speaker, public speaker, and gospel music minister, using her voice to inspire audiences across Nigeria and beyond.
