Under his leadership, the company has grown into a thriving creative enterprise, employing over 75 young professionals while creating opportunities for emerging talents in Nigeria’s creative industry.
His entrepreneurial journey is one of remarkable transformation. From humble beginnings marked by financial struggles and uncertainty, Chinonso has built a successful business that continues to expand its impact. Today, he is developing a new corporate headquarters in Lagos, a project expected to create employment opportunities for over 300 young talents.
Sabi Writers’ rapid growth has earned national recognition. The company was listed among the Top 100 Fastest Growing SMEs in Nigeria by BusinessDay, highlighting its influence and innovation within the country’s creative and knowledge economy.
Chinonso is also an Executive Graduate of Lagos Business School and a lifetime member of the Lagos Business School Alumni Association. In 2024, he received global recognition when he was named Global Alumni of the Year by ENACTUS World, at a prestigious international competition held in Astana, Kazakhstan, with participants from over 25 countries.
Beyond his entrepreneurial achievements, Chinonso is deeply committed to leadership development and social impact. He hosts The Builder’s Story Podcast, where he shares insights and conversations around entrepreneurship and personal growth. He also serves on the advisory boards of several growing businesses, supporting emerging leaders and enterprises.
Through his company, he has also championed initiatives that support families and education. In 2025, he launched the Future Builders Scholarship, providing tuition support to 30 children in Nigeria, and introduced Sabi Writers Baby Nest, a fully equipped crèche facility designed to support nursing mothers within the workplace.
