SYNOPSIS
The advent of technology has revolutionized the way lawyers sell legal services. Lawyers must keep up with technological changes that impact the practice of law. This session will examine the role of lawyers in Blockchain and Tech Innovation and the challenges facing legal service providers in Blockchain & Fintech Ecosystem in Nigeria. It will consider the legal, regulatory and corporate governance issues in DeFi, DAOs, NFTs, Metaverse and other blockchain derivatives. It will explore the opportunities for lawyers in blockchain and the skills needed to succeed as a technology lawyer.
